figured mahogany, three dovetailed drawers with oak linings and pull-out brush slide, straight bracket feet, British, 18th/19th century, 32-1/2 x 37 x 19-1/2 in. Feet replaced, brush slide lacking back portion, brasses replaced, veneer and molding patches, surface stains and distress especially to top. Provenance: Estate of the Late Dr. John Rison Jones, Jr., Huntsville, Alabama. All proceeds to benefit the Art Acquisition Fund, Huntsville Museum of Art.
