mahogany with oak, elm, pine and other mixed secondary woods, two-case construction, dovetailed drawers, on original straight bracket feet, 68-3/4 x 43-1/2 x 21-1/2 in. Replaced brasses (no plugged holes), patches and repairs to moldings especially cornice, feet with some repairs and later blocking, other minor damage and repair. Provenance: Estate of the Late Dr. John Rison Jones, Jr., Huntsville, Alabama. All proceeds to benefit the Art Acquisition Fund, Huntsville Museum of Art.
