variegated green marble top over two cabinet doors fitted with silk drapery and flanked by open bookshelves with mirror backs and three adjustable shelves, lyre, acanthus leaf and trailing bellflower gilt bronze mounts, British, early 19th century, 39-1/4 x 49-1/2 x 10-1/2 in. Marble top replaced, otherwise generally good condition, some surface corrosion and wear to mounts, water spotting, veneer and molding repairs especially to base, curtains later and with surface dirt and wear. Provenance: Private Collection, Savannah, Georgia.
