mahogany, each with tablet back and over-the-rail upholstered seats with brass tacks, turned legs, British, 19th century, 31-1/2 x 19-1/2 x 15-3/4 in. Several repairs to stiles at joints with seat frames, one with replaced back leg, minor wear and abrasions, upholstery in good repair, not examined under upholstery. Provenance: Private Collection, Spartanburg, South Carolina.
