Pair Chippendale mahogany side chairs:

each with carved back and seat rail on stop-fluted legs with H stretchers, British, late 18th century, 38 x 20-1/2 x 20-1/2 in. Refinished, carving probably of a later date, later slip seats and seat blocking, break and repair to one front leg, some joints slightly loose, other finish wear and abrasions. Provenance: Estate of the Late Dr. John Rison Jones, Jr., Huntsville, Alabama. All proceeds to benefit the Art Acquisition Fund, Huntsville Museum of Art.
