Chippendale style, each with bellflower and leaf carved crest over solid splat, needlework-upholstered slip seat, cabriole legs and ball-and-claw feet, early 20th century, 41 x 23 x 18 in. Some surface dirt and mildew, minor cracks and separations, one with broken slip seat frame, one with damage to carving of crest rail, other minor repairs and surface flaws, break and old repair to one lower chair back near seat.
