Khotan style rug,

large octagonal central medallion on wine red field, small quadrupeds in corners, ivory and blue ground borders, modern copy of 19th century rug, 7 ft. 1 in. x 10 ft. 9 in. Even low pile probably as made, several small stains with bleeding. Provenance: Private Collection, Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
