large central medallion on faded rose ground, 6 ft. 10 in. x 10 ft. 4 in. Generally even low pile, one side with heavy crease wear and selvedge losses, up to 2 in. end loss with later binding at each end, several small holes, heavy grime. Provenance: Estate of the Late Dr. John Rison Jones, Jr., Huntsville, Alabama. All proceeds to benefit the Art Acquisition Fund, Huntsville Museum of Art.
