of square section with scenes of scholars and attendants in fenced garden, cartouches with birds on a honeycomb band, beast head handles, late 19th/early 20th century, vase 17-1/2 in., 24-1/2 in. to top of socket. Mounted as lamp, drilled base, minor wear and loss to glaze and gilt. Provenance: Private Collection.
