pear form, gilt rims, cherry blossoms on a celadon curl ground, blue interiors, bases with elaborate shaped cartouches with four-character mark, seven-character inscription, surrounded by seashells, foot ring with lotuses, late 19th/early 20th century, 7-3/4 in. Wear to gilt on rims with minor corrosion, one vase with interior crack, one vase with interior rim chip probably as made. Provenance: Estate of the Late Mary F. Kessler, Tryon, North Carolina.
