winter landscape with figures on a town road, signed lower left "S.C. Shaw", unattributed, oil on canvas, 10-3/8 x 15 in.; 19th century gilt wood and composition frame. Original stretcher and tacking edge, crackle, cupping, grime; frame resurfaced, abrasions. Provenance: Estate of the Late William and Priscilla Carlebach, Mystic, Connecticut and Bedford, New York.
