Connecticut Chippendale chest
of drawers, cherry and maple with chestnut and pine secondary, three dovetailed long drawers, original ogee bracket feet, dovetailed and rosehead nail construction, Connecticut or Rhode Island, 18th century, 37 x 39 x 21-1/4 in. Top warped, brasses replaced, patches and one corner loss to drawer facings, original feet with some later blocking. Provenance: Estate of the Late William and Priscilla Carlebach, Mystic, Connecticut and Bedford, New York.
