wilderness landscape with woman carrying wood and crossing a river, unsigned, oil on canvas, 21-5/8 x 30-3/8 in.; 20th century gilt wood frame. Restretched on new stretcher, lined with wax and linen, retouch, crackle, cupping, flaking, frame abrasions, craquelure; frame with abrasions. Provenance: Estate of the Late William and Priscilla Carlebach, Mystic, Connecticut and Bedford, New York.
