Palmer, American, 1812-1876, hand-colored lithograph with gum arabic, stone 16-3/4 x 23-7/8 in., page 21-3/4 x 28-1/2 in.; 20th century gilt wood frame. Colors strong, some acid leaching, loose, tape adhesive verso top edge at former hinges, light toning; frame with abrasions. Provenance: The Old Print Shop, New York (partial label verso backing paper); Estate of the Late William and Priscilla Carlebach, Mystic, Connecticut and Bedford, New York.
