chest, walnut with poplar secondary, original iron strap hinges and iron lock, brass batwing pulls and escutcheons, front with inlaid initials "HW", bottom drawer with several chalk inscriptions including signature "Adam Parker(?)", original straight bracket feet, Pennsylvania or Southern, 18th century, 31 x 49 x 22 31 x 49 x 22 in. Refinished with surface fading and stains, top somewhat warped, rear foot replaced, other patches and repairs to feet, several dents and color variation.
