Philadelphia Federal mahogany sofa,

yellow pine, sycamore(?) and other mixed secondary woods in old dry varnished surface, currently unupholstered, 1800-1810, 36-1/2 x 76 x 29 in. Excellent condition overall, one replaced back brace, patches to one arm terminus, other normal wear, upholstery tacking scars and minor repairs. A nearly identical example is illustrated in Israel Sack, p. 398, No. 1005.
