Morris family William and Mary
highchair, original painted surface, banister back with turned rungs and stiles, shaped arms, old dry surface with multiple paint histories including yellow, red and brown, probably New England, early 18th century, 35-1/2 x 15-1/4 x 13-1/2 in. Excellent original condition, replaced rush seat, normal surface wear and abrasions with scattered paint loss especially to crest and tops of arms. Provenance: Property of a Descendant of Anthony Morris of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
