Rough Sketch of 32,000 acres of land in Montgomery County in Virginia Surveyed for Mr. Levi Hollingsworth of Philadelphia in the Year 1784, signed by Dorsey Pentecost, showing 32 tracts of land along the Guyandotte River, south of where it meets the Ohio River in modern day West Virginia, additional notes describe the land, navigation routes, types of trees present, and its proximity to the "fertile settlements of Caintucky [sic]", on laid paper with watermarks, 23 x 19 in. Toning, fading, foxing, soiling, stains, creases with separations, tears and losses (affecting text and signature). Provenance: Property of a Descendant of Anthony Morris of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
