ten lines of letters and numbers separated by bands of finely stitched designs, stitched at bottom "Mercy Neville Finished This Work the/30th November 1837. Aged 10 years", floral vine border, 15-1/4 x 12-3/4 in. (sight); probably original wood frame. Fading, darkening of linen ground, scattered holes, losses to edges; abrasions to frame.
