white pine throughout with blue and cream paint decoration, hinged top with open interior, long dovetailed drawer, turned feet, New York or New England, 19th century, 28 x 48-1/2 x 19-1/2 in. Generally good condition with wear and losses to painted surface especially on top, normal shrinkage cracks, replaced brasses. Provenance: Estate of the Late William and Priscilla Carlebach, Mystic, Connecticut and Bedford, New York.
