Mount Vernon with birds and animals over "George Washington February 22 1828", strawberry vine border, silk on linen, American, circa 1828, 8 x 9-3/4 in. (sight); possibly original wood frame. Light stains, fading, fabric(?) backing, with recent board mat, not examined out of frame. Provenance: "M. Finkel and Daughter" label verso; Estate of the Late William and Priscilla Carlebach, Mystic, Connecticut and Bedford, New York.
