mirror, carved and composition ornament, spread-wing eagle on rocky plinth and holding two foliate streamers over circular mirror plate over two scrolled candle arms, probably American, late 19th century, 41 x 27 x 9-1/2 in. Surface regilt, scattered cracks and minor losses to composition ornament, some distress to silvering on mirror plate, repairs to eagle's wings, other possible repairs obscured by regilding.
