three-board scrubbed pine top tilting on battens over a paint-decorated trestle base with hinged seat and open interior, pine throughout, probably American, 19th century, 31-1/2 x 50-3/4 x 40 in. Surface wear and losses to paint decoration, break and repair at one hinge, other abrasions and wear consistent with age and use.
