salt glazed stoneware with two lug handles and flattened rims, both with characteristic ridge below rim: one stamped "4", 14-1/4 in., [surface abrasions, small firing void;] one stamped "2", speckled dark red/brown glaze, 11-3/4 in., [some surface pitting,] both attributed to Charles F. Decker (East Tennessee, late 19th century). Scattered rim and lug chips.
