poplar secondary, in original varnished surface, two-board top, dovetailed drawer, turned legs, cut-nail construction, East Tennessee, first half 19th century, 28-3/4 x 23-3/4 x 21-1/2 in. Original condition, top with warping and some later nails, wear and minor losses to turnings, some paint splatter and surface variation and stains.
