10 volumes: [Works of Benjamin Franklin,] 1840, publisher Hilliard Gray and Co., Boston, Massachusetts, brown leather boards, gilt titles on spines, foldouts, Volumes I, II, III, IV and VII with tissue-covered frontis portraits, 6 x 9-1/2 in. Hinges and joints tight, spine titles torn or missing, some spine fragments laid in, boards with stains, heaving toning. Provenance: Property of a Charleston Lady.
