Pair brass andirons, fender:

andirons with baluster posts, spur arches and ball feet, second quarter 19th century, 20 in., [billet bars shortened;] pierced brass fender with feet, piercing with repeating vines and scrolls, probably British, 19th century, 10 x 43-1/2 in. Both with old polished surfaces and scattered light corrosion, otherwise good condition. Provenance: Tag attributes fender to a plantation in Mecklenberg County, Virginia.
