original white marble top, figured mahogany veneers throughout with poplar secondary, original mirror back, probably New York, 1830s, 35-1/2 x 43-1/2 x 19-1/2 in. Generally good condition, scattered veneer chips and repairs, other surface abrasions and varnish bloom, mirror with silver distress. Provenance: Estate of the Late William and Priscilla Carlebach, Mystic, Connecticut and Bedford, New York.
