16-1/2 in. bronze pediment of seated Psyche holding a lamp, quiver of arrows in other hand, bronze marked "CP" (possibly a foundry mark), clock face with open escapement flanked by intaglio cut panel with gilt leaves and vines, brass works, back cover with 1886 cleaning date, polished slate base 8 x 19 in., total height 24 in. Base with scattered small rim chips, possibly a marriage.
