French style with openwork scroll decoration, late 19th/early 20th century, marks for Howard Sterling Co. (Providence, Rhode Island), no monogram, 16.05 oz.T., 6-1/4 x 8-1/2 x 4-1/2 in. Dents, heavy tarnish. Provenance: Descended in the families of the Late Colonel John Kerr Connally and Alice Thomas Coleman Connelly of Fernihurst, Asheville, North Carolina.
