Weller Blue Louwelsa, poppies, Ferrell or Fouts

Especially nice Weller Blue Louwelsa vase with red poppy decoration done by Frank Ferrell or Charles Fouts. Unlike most Blue Louwelsa pieces, this vase has the added plus of rich color in the flowers. Two similar examples can be found in Carrigan and Wunsch "Weller Pottery The Rare, The Unusual, the Seldom Seen" on page 170. Signed with a large "F" on the side. Height 12 1/8 inches. Fine overall crazing with exceptional art and composition.
