Deeply carved and colorful Newcomb mat glaze vase with pink iris decoration done in 1927 by Anna Frances Simpson. The pink flowers and buds and green leaves encircle the dark blue ground. Marks include the Newcomb logo, shape number 195, date code for 1927 (QK 3) and the incised monogram of the artist. Height 9 inches. Fine carving and deep color.
