Tiffany bronze inkwell,3 1/2",insert,quill holder

Nice Tiffany Studios bronze ink well with green slag glass peeking through a reticulated conifer needle design. The well is lofted on ball feet, the circumference encircled with chains of beading. The hinged cover opens to reveal a glass insert with a black plastic quill holder tucked inside. Height 3 3/4 inches, diameter 4 inches. Impressed "Tiffany Studios, New York" beneath. The glass insert is stamped ""The Davis, New York" and has 19th century patent dates. The glass insert has very minor usage nicks and a bruise at the base. The bronze well is in excellent condition, all original and complete.
