Ivory urn with rose finial on stopper, 7"

Ivory octagonal urn elaborately carved with a tangle of dragons and flowers and foliage in four of the panels and panels where Oriental messages were inscribed. The cover has two roses and buds artistically carved as the finial. Combined height 9 inches. The roses appear to have been reset onto the cover and a few leaves are missing from the arrangement. Very ornate and handsome vessel. From the Estate of Robert E. White, Jr. of Oxford, Ohio.
