Simon Avissar French Israeli oil painting Listed

31 X 25 inches oil on canvas mythological figures (1938 - )Simon Avissar was born in Morocco. He studied at the Arts Appliques from 1959-60 and the Beaux Arts from 1959-61, both in Paris, and maintained a studio there for 14 years. He spent 1962-63 at the Betzalel Art Academy Jerusalem. The French Ambassador's Special Award was presented to him in 1964.
