Andre De Pontes, 19th C. Spanish. Very detailed painting of two young girls holding flowers, sitting and viewing a painting of a soldier, possibly their father. A lady dressed in black standing behind them viewing as well, possibly their mother. There are soldiers articles with large birds near the girls and some of the flowers are strewn on the floor. 20.5" H x 16" W, signed LR and remnants of old paper tag enverso. Craquelure throughout.
