Herd, Andrew – The Fly - England – 2001, Medlar Press. Limited edition, number 64 of 599 copies, of which 99 are bound in leather. 374 pages. Bound in full leather with marbled end papers, gold gilt, inset paper fly on front cover. Very fine with fine condition slipcase.

A fly fisherman throughout his life, Robert Blockoff had been fascinated by the sport from a young age. By extension in the 1970's his attention turned to collecting angling books. This and 97 other lots represent this pursuit. His collection is comprised of both American and English titles with a focus on salmon fishing, having taken a significant turn when he purchased Jones' Guide to Norway from the important G-Albert Petit Collection. Further early titles soon followed. Lang's is pleased to offer the Blockoff Angling Library.
