Rhead, Louis – Fisherman's Lures and Game-Fish Food – 1920, Scribner & Sons. 186 pages, seven black and white and 4 color plates. Bait Angling for Common Fishes – 1907, Outing Publishing Co., First edition. 152 pages, blue picture cloth. The Speckled Brook Trout – 1902, R.H. Russell. 2nd printing. All three are illustrated by Louis Rhead and are in at least very good condition.

A fly fisherman throughout his life, Robert Blockoff had been fascinated by the sport from a young age. By extension in the 1970's his attention turned to collecting angling books. This and 97 other lots represent this pursuit. His collection is comprised of both American and English titles with a focus on salmon fishing, having taken a significant turn when he purchased Jones' Guide to Norway from the important G-Albert Petit Collection.
