Three achievement certificates awarded to Roy Steenrod, including a 13 3/4" x 11" Boy Scouts of America Distinguished Service Certificate (Silver Beaver Award), dated 1932, a 1926 New York Conservation Commission appointment of State Game Protector certificate, and a 1952 New York State 26 years of service Certificate of Appreciation. Also included are several small photos of Steenrod with flies or at his tying station, and a reproduced photo of Theodore Gordon which includes a bit of information about Gordon and his close friend Steenrod. Notes were written by Steenrod's daughter, she mentions "Dad's" and Gordon's books will be "put in a memoriam in the Anglers' Club in New York". All material is in good condition or better, most having age discoloration (Boy Scouts some bending).
