Rare Framed Carrie Stevens Fly on Card

Mint, unused streamer fly comes on a marked 4 1/4" original Carrie Stevens' card, encased in the original cellophane. The pattern on the card, written in Stevens' hand, looks to read "Nine Trees"? Feathers cover just enough of the writing to make the entire pattern name unclear. To our knowledge, this Carrie Stevens' original pattern has not been documented, making this fly a very important example. Professionally matted by Don Leyden/Donmar Studios in a 14 1/2" x 10" wood frame, which includes a rendition of Stevens, and a plaque stating "This fly was tied by Mrs. Carrie Stevens, Upper Dam - Maine". Reverse includes an informative booklet on Carrie Stevens.
