Framed Francis Stearns Fly Collection

32 exceptional old streamer flies, with Stearns' hand written title A Sampler of Streamers for Salmon, Trout & Bass and signature. Each colorful fly has pattern identification by Stearns and is in like new condition. In original 20" x 20" frame. It is becoming increasingly more difficult to find nice examples of this highly respected pioneer's work, whose credits include being the first woman to hold such a lofty position as L.L. Bean's chief designer and tier in the 1930's. To find a large number of like new examples such as these, identified and signed by Stearns is extraordinary and extremely rare.
