Harry Darbee sold his first fly in 1927, later partnering with his wife, Elsie, and tying flies from their home a short distance from the Willowemoc Creek. No serious Catskill fly collection would be complete without examples from this prominent fly tying couple. Each fly comes professionally matted in 7 7/8" x 6 7/8" wood frame. One, a Coffin Fly by Harry Darbee, the other, a deer hair Coffin Fly by Elsie Darbee. Both are in mint, unused condition.
