Early Unusual Wooden Creel

10" tall, wood slat construction, hinged wood lid, red painted interior, with brass bands and tacks top and bottom. Creel front has an attractive brass fish decoration, hand cut and applied, with the same tacks as used in the construction. Also, two lion's head strap handles on either side that appear to be original. In very good condition with a 1 1/2" thin section of wood missing on the bottom corner, use wear and age discoloration.
