Large French Weave Creel

Early 1900's creel woven of whole willow measures 8 3/4" tall x 16" wide, and displays a very nice bulbous form. Weave is tight and very well done. Condition is only fair due to damage to the leather latch and basketry damage to the hinge edge of the lid (original splint hinges are still present). This creel would be worthy of restoration.
