Four Early Fishing Notice Plaques

Posted on telegraph poles or posts for public notices about fishing laws in France from the late 1800's through the turn of the century. These 3 1/4" to 4" curved metal medallions, 2 marked La Loi (The Law) for mounting on a vehicle, bicycle or post, and 2 marked Garde Particulier (Private Guard) for an officer to wear on his belt or shoulder strap. All have at least light wear and tarnish, condition from fair to very good.
