Edward Vom Hofe, Maker, Fulton St., N. Y. Marked Perfection Model 360 Size 1 Hand Made German Silver and Hard Rubber Trout Reel. Marked with serial number H404, this 3" diameter, 1" wide spool reel features German silver rims and blemish free, dark hard rubber side plates. With an early five position drag under the handle that is adjusted via a knurled disk with arrow pointer, with five red indicator dots, this "S" handle reel also has a nickel silver spool with brass arbor, finely knurled rear mounted click switch and sliding oil cap, marked "Edward Vom Hofe - NY - Pat. Jan. 23.'83". In Ex condition. With perfectly functioning drag, crisp click and great looking shouldered pillars, an exceptional condition reel whose design has influenced many of today's finest reel makers.
