Early Edward Vom Hofe Size 3 1/2 Peerless Model 355 German Silver and Hard Rubber Trout Reel. A small size 3 1/2 Edward Vom Hofe reel in excellent original condition, with a 2 3/8" diameter and 13/16" wide spool, German silver banded rims, and scratch free rubber side plates that have miniscule imperfections around the screw heads, in exceptional condition with early "Edw Vom Hofe - Patented - Pat Jan. 23, 1883 - Fulton St, NY" marked sliding oil port and unaltered foot with both size and model markings. A true American classic.
