Scarce "C.F. Orvis - Maker - Patented, Manchester, VT" Marked Nickel Plated Bass Size Fly Reel. With overhanging rim and "S" shaped, screw off counter balanced handle, this 2 7/8" diameter reel has a good amount of nickel plating, screwed frame construction with foot that directly connects to the foot pillars and rear sliding click switch. A scarce 1" wide spool version in very good to very good plus condition.
