Vom Hofe 4/0 Tobique Multiplying Salmon Reel

Edward Vom Hofe 4/0 Model 504 Tobique Hand Made German Silver and Hard Rubber Multiplying Salmon Reel. Having a 3 7/8" diameter and a 1 5/8" wide spool, this reel was made with the classic rear mounted adjustable click-stop drag with red indicator dots set in the hard rubber tail plate. The sliding rear oil cap is marked with "Edward Vom Hofe & Co., Maker, NY" and has the May 20, 1902 patent date. The hard rubber end plates and nickel silver rims are in fantastic condition with slight fading to the hard rubber and screw heads showing minimal use. With aluminum handle and foot that is marked with both the model number 504 and size 4/0, in overall excellent condition and set for right hand wind.
