Attractive 31 1/4" whale shaped sign with gold CLASSIC RODS lettering, hand carved in green paint. This sign hung on the wall outside Keane's shop in Connecticut for many years. In good condition, but does have a section of the lower tail missing, also wear/mold in spots. Well made folk art owned by a man many feel was the most important advocate of bamboo rod collecting in history.
